A squat, hand-formed vessel in a dark, iron-like glaze that bears the irregularities of hammering and firing, this piece embodies a quiet rustic elegance. Rounded protrusions on the body create a simple rhythm across the surface, and the weathered patina gives the object the look of an aged artifact reclaimed from the earth. The uneven rim and mottled metallic tones speak to an aesthetic of imperfection and time: light skims across small dimples and oxidized highlights, while the interior’s warmer clay tone peeks from within.

The result is an intimate, functional object elevated into a study of texture and presence.
