Rajat Ghosh - Artwork 139
A hybrid winged figure with an avian beak and human torso occupies the center, rendered in vibrant greens, oranges and aquamarines with layered washes and expressive ink-like drawings. The surface is populated with tiny pictographs and iconographic sketches that suggest myth, ritual and storytelling woven into the figure’s body. The work juxtaposes naïve marks with skillful draftsmanship to create an exuberant, narrative portrait that feels both ancestral and modern.
Decorative wings and flowing hair frame the composition, giving it a ceremonial and talismanic presence.
