Himhemalay - Artwork 16

A vibrant portrait of a dancer captured mid-gesture, where sweeping, energetic brushstrokes build luminous color and movement.

Warm golds crown the figure while contrasts of deep blues and lively pinks in the skirt and background suggest motion and festive ornamentation. The work blends figurative draftsmanship with loose, expressive handling of paint: the sitter’s serene face anchors the composition while exuberant, painterly strokes around her convey rhythm and atmosphere, evoking a celebratory performance scene.
