Ashok Bhowmick - Artwork 204

A stylized depiction of a seated cat rendered in bold charcoal outlines with warm orange pastel accents and patterned fills. The treatment flattens form into decorative planes while preserving a playful, expressive personality in the animal’s face and posture; repeated motifs and textured shading lend the work a handcrafted, almost folk-art charm. The confident, simplified drawing vocabulary points to a modern decorative approach—balanced between whimsy and formal design—making the piece accessible and immediate.

The signed lower margin and framed presentation suggest a completed, display-ready artwork rather than a casual sketch.
