Sanjeev Kishor Gautam - Artwork 224

A richly worked etching featuring a central, sculptural figure surrounded by a tapestry of symbolic and biomorphic forms. The print’s layered textures, stippling and dark tonality create a dense, dreamlike field that invites prolonged visual exploration. Intricate details inhabit the margins and background — arcane devices, patterned surfaces and organic motifs — contributing to an enigmatic narrative quality.

The work reads as an allegorical composition, where figure and ornament weave together in a theatrical, contemplative scene.
