Brahmadeo Pandit - Artwork 273

A low, rounded metallic form with bulbous contours sits on a dark field like a playful creature in repose; its high-polish chrome finish reflects buildings, sky and the faint silhouettes of viewers. Accented knobs and protrusions give the piece a whimsical character that balances between abstraction and figuration. The highly reflective surface transforms spectators into participants, folding the environment into the work’s identity.

The combination of organic volume and industrial sheen produces a contemporary sculpture that is both jovial and uncanny, offering shifting narratives with each change of viewpoint.
