Arpana Caur - Artwork 297

A lithe, elongated female figure floats against a saturated pink ground, rendered in smooth blended tones that recall pastel or oil techniques. The composition is playful and allegorical — a hand holds a round object while an arrow and tiny dog punctuate the scene, creating a subtle narrative tension. The work balances delicate modeling of the human form with flat, decorative color fields and spare symbols.

Its dreamlike staging, soft contours and careful control of light produce a quietly theatrical image that feels both intimate and mythic.
