An energetic diptych-like composition, this piece layers textured papers, scraped paint and calligraphic marks across a muted blue ground. Two vertical, face-like profiles emerge from richly worked surfaces of ochre, gray and navy, enlivened by spontaneous drips, stitched textures and rhythmic, small-scale inscriptions that traverse the margins. The work celebrates materiality and process: areas of impasto and delicate washes coexist with frenetic, script-like gestures that imply language or memory.

The overall effect is one of dynamic tension between form and fragmentation, inviting exploration of both the painted surface and the fleeting narratives hinted within.
