A vertical scene of a sunlit hillside town rendered in broad, confident brushstrokes and warm Mediterranean hues; clustered white buildings with terracotta roofs climb toward a solitary bell tower beneath a soft blue sky. Lush, expressive foliage in the foreground is painted with lively strokes of green and blue, anchoring the composition and providing a vivid counterpoint to the compact architecture. The work emphasizes atmosphere and color over precise detail, using loose painterly gestures to convey light and spatial depth.

The overall effect is one of serene brightness and the immediate pleasure of a painter observing a familiar coastal village at rest.
