A single, oversized circular flatbread fills the composition, its warm, toasted spots rendered with careful gradation against a cool, neutral background. The artist isolates this everyday object and elevates it through scale and immaculate surface treatment, inviting contemplation of texture and ordinary nourishment. The work’s restrained palette and precise handling create a quiet, almost reverent portrait of a commonplace food item; the round form and subtle shadowing give it monumentality while retaining domestic familiarity.

This concentrated simplicity turns a humble subject into a study of light, color and form that feels both intimate and slightly uncanny.
