Shakeela - Mixed Media - Artwork 404

A layered collage that assembles torn papers, photographic fragments and painted bits into a dense, enigmatic landscape. Muted grays form a broad ground punctuated by small figurative cutouts — a balanced figure, dark vertical forms and phantom faces — producing a narrative that feels both archaeological and dreamlike. The work’s edges are framed in black while its interior plays with scale and texture: crumpled paper, glossy magazine imagery and painterly touches create depth and tension.

The overall effect is a contemplative mosaic of found imagery that rewards slow looking as details emerge from the textured surface.
