A vivid panorama framed within a simple wooden surround, this landscape celebrates bold color and rhythmic patterning. Sunlit eucalyptus trunks occupy the foreground in warm ochres and pinks, giving way to layered terraces of purple and red hills embroidered with expressive dots of foliage. The sky is rendered in delicate bands of pastel cloud and streaked light, creating a harmonious contrast with the earth’s saturated reds and greens.

Overall the piece balances decorative design with painterly spontaneity, offering a joyous, slightly stylized vision of an arid vista.
