A stylized portrait of a seated woman worked in a limited, earthy palette of grays, browns and metallic accents, where decorative patterning and textured surfaces are as important as line. The figure is composed from flattened, interlocking planes and intricate ornamental motifs: her garments and surroundings dissolve into a collage of calligraphic marks, repeated symbols and scratched, rust-like surfaces that create a worn, archaeological feel. The piece evokes a timeless persona—an anonymous sitter who becomes emblematic through pattern and texture rather than individualized realism.

Small gestural details—an elegant hand, a downcast eye—imbue the composition with quiet dignity while the surrounding marks and speckles suggest memory, ritual and the layered strata of cultural history.
