J - Barcelona - Artwork 599

This horizontal composition presents a whimsical architectural panorama of façades, balconies and narrow streets drawn in fine, confident lines. The piece emphasizes vertical openings and rhythmic repetitions of windows and ledges, with minute figures and everyday activities scattered throughout to give scale and narrative. Light washes and strategic hatching provide subtle volume while retaining an overall graphic economy, lending the scene an intimate, hand-drawn quality.

Framed in black, the sheet feels like a map of domestic life, meticulous in detail and warm in its observational tone.
