Ishwar Chand Gupta - Artwork 63

A delicate watercolor and ink depiction of three standing figures, rendered with looser washes and assured contour lines that suggest movement and communal presence. Pale greens, aquas and purples define the bodies while a neutral, textured background lends a stage-like atmosphere to the tableau. The figures’ elongated postures and simplified features convey a lyrical, dance-like poise; the work reads as an exploration of rhythm and social intimacy rather than literal portraiture.

Its lightness of touch and rhythmic repetition create a graceful, understated composition.
