Narendra Pal Singh - Artwork 633

A lively, figurative group portrait featuring multiple stylized characters arranged across a broad horizontal field; the figures wear colorful patterned garments and expressive jewelry, rendered with bold outlines and flattened planes of color. A peacock feather motif and heart-shaped leaves in the background add decorative rhythm, while the central male figure and surrounding women suggest a shared communal moment or storytellers’ tableau. Rendered in a modern folk idiom, the painting blends traditional Indian visual motifs with contemporary color blocks and simplified anatomy to create an animated, social scene.

The decorative patterns, theatrical faces and confident brushwork produce an accessible narrative energy that celebrates everyday cultural life with warmth and visual wit.
