Prerna Singh - Artwork 641

A serene side profile of a woman's head floats above horizontal bands of warm, woodlike washes, rendered in a refined monochrome palette. Subtle stippling and textured surfaces occupy the upper field while leaf-shaped silhouettes glide across the picture plane, creating a calm, lyrical dialogue between figure and abstract ground. The piece is governed by restraint: gentle tonal transitions and precisely drawn facial features evoke quiet contemplation.

The horizontal strata beneath the portrait suggest landscape or water, grounding the floating profile and establishing a meditative, poetic equilibrium.
