A layered collage built on newspaper or magazine pages has been vigorously repainted and textured, producing a patchwork of imagery and color.

Dark blues, greens and scattered bright accents sit atop visible text blocks and printed thumbnails, while painterly gestures and scraping create depth and a tactile, weathered surface. Seen within a plain white frame, the work reads as an urban palimpsest where found media and painterly intervention coexist: torn edges, printed headlines and brushed pigments form a dense visual field that alternates between legibility and abstraction, inviting the viewer to trace fragments of narrative buried in the layers.
