Rajat Ghosh - Artwork 643

A lively stand of bamboo rendered in vigorous green washes and quick black ink strokes, this work captures the layered density of foliage with joyful immediacy. Vertical stalks rise through the composition while delicate linear leaves overlay the paint, creating a lively rhythm of mark and color that suggests wind and growth. Presented within a neutral mat and slim white frame, the piece balances spontaneity and control: bold, wet washes deliver verdant depth while the drawn outlines lend botanical specificity and whimsical energy.

The overall effect is fresh and verdant, an intimate study of plant life translated into an elegant, animated picture.
