A dense, gestural abstraction unfolds across a predominantly black field, animated by vigorous sweeps, scraped passages, splatters, and clustered daubs of colour. Olive green, rust brown, ochre, white, grey, and flashes of vivid orange emerge and recede within the dark ground, creating a sense of restless depth. Broad arcs and looping strokes suggest movement without resolving into identifiable forms, while rough textures and layered brushwork give the surface a strongly tactile presence.

The composition balances expansive dark masses with concentrated bursts of lighter pigment, producing a turbulent yet controlled visual rhythm. Its energy derives from spontaneous mark-making, contrast, and the physical immediacy of paint.
