P.R. Darose - Artwork 716

A heavily textured, monochrome relief panel that resembles a sheet of metal or cast material pinned within a shallow white frame.

Its crumpled, cratered surface and silvery-grey tonality create a tactile topography of shadows and highlights, suggesting geological erosion or industrial residue. The work’s emphasis on surface, weight and material presence invites tactile imagination: small metal staples and the visible mounting reinforce an objecthood that sits between sculpture and relief, presenting a restrained, austere meditation on texture and form.
