A densely patterned turquoise field is animated by hundreds of minute black human silhouettes, creating the impression of an immense, anonymous crowd. At the centre, an enlarged rotary telephone becomes the dominant visual anchor, rendered with bold graphic contours and simplified black, white, and turquoise forms. A slender antelope-like creature balances upon the handset, while a horizontal sequence of small industrial buildings above releases pale pink smoke.

Fragmentary motifs appear along the edges, including a red chair, partial animals, and a head crowned by branching red forms. Through repetition, abrupt changes of scale, and improbable combinations, the image achieves a surreal, theatrical tension between mass humanity, machinery, nature, and communication.
