A nocturnal composition rendered in deep, velvety blacks and highlighted with sinuous, knotlike bands of greenish patina. The tactile surfaces and carved-looking lines create the impression of a relief translated into ink or paint, where light picks out the braided contours and a shadowed central mass suggests a concealed figure or stone. The work reads as a meditation on containment and interconnection: tangled loops encircle and both reveal and obscure the central form, while the dense field of mark-making gives the piece an almost geological presence.

The restrained palette and strong chiaroscuro emphasize mood over narrative, inviting quiet contemplation of texture and rhythm.
