Seema Kohli - Artwork 777

A vividly painted, stylized bovine rendered in rich blues, teals and golds, covered with intricate patterns, miniature narrative scenes and swirling motifs across its body; the form is playful and monumental, combining traditional iconography with a contemporary, decorative surface. The creature’s posture—one foreleg raised and head uplifted—conveys movement and joy, while gold accents and finely detailed figural vignettes lend a ceremonial, storytelling aspect to the work. This exuberant sculpture fuses folk narrative and modern design, its ornamented skin acting as a tapestry of mythic references and ornamental precision.

The overall effect is celebratory and ornate, drawing the viewer into a layered visual world where color, pattern and symbolic imagery animate the animal’s form.
