Rajat Ghosh - Artwork 796

A large, framed monochrome composition rendered with broad, flowing black brushstrokes across a tan ground. The marks are energetic and layered, suggesting movement and depth through dense areas of ink balanced by tentative linear gestures and textured washes. The piece reads as an exploration of form and negative space, the calligraphic strokes alternately coalescing into suggestions of faces and organic shapes while leaving much to the viewer’s imagination.

Presentation in a simple wooden frame and wide mat emphasizes its graphic intensity and intimate paper surface.
