A vertically elongated bronze (or patinated metal) head and neck, simplified into bold, geometric planes for the brow and nose while the mouth and jaw are rendered with textured, rough modeling. The dark, variegated surface shows metallic highlights and a rugged patina that emphasize age and the casting process, producing a solemn, contemplative visage. The sculpture’s abstracted features concentrate expression into essential forms: the heavy brow and elongated columnar neck give the figure an archetypal, totemic presence, while the worn surface and subtle color shifts suggest time and weathering.

As a whole it reads as a modernist meditation on the human head, where materiality and form fuse to evoke endurance and quiet introspection.
