A variant view of the same elongated bust, here dominated by a greenish patina that emphasizes the sculpture’s carved, almost striated surface. The head’s planes are treated more abstractly from the rear and sides, with pencilled grooves and layered corrosion-like tones that convert facial suggestion into rhythmic patterning across the neck and crown. This perspective reads the work as a study in texture and material transformation: verdigris and dark bronze create contrasting strata, while the irregular, geometric marks turn the human profile into a sculptural map of time and process.
The result is a contemplative object in which patina and incised gesture are as important as likeness.
