A tall, ovoid form finished in layered turquoise and teal patina, this work reads as a weathered pillar punctured with a constellation of small holes. Vertical striations and a slightly rough, organic surface suggest an object animated by time and salt, its silhouette softened at the shoulders and rounded at the base. Viewed closely the piece reveals human craft in the irregular grooves and subtle color shifts: green-blue glazes catch light while deeper crevices remain shadowed, giving the object a sense of interior depth.
