A closely related blue-glazed vase, this work narrows slightly toward the top and is marked by fine, parallel horizontal ridges that encircle its body. The surface treatment alternates bands of deeper and lighter blue, creating a shimmering, almost oceanic striation that suggests movement held in stillness. The compact mouth and rounded belly give the object a reassuring gravity, while the disciplined linear patterning speaks to a careful making process—likely wheel-thrown and subsequently textured.

Overall the piece reads as a contemplative study in repetition, color modulation, and surface tactility.
