A stylized female head, coated in a warm red pigment, presents a calm, idealized face with carved decorative motifs on the forehead and hairline.

The treatment of surface—fine incised lines across the cheeks and forehead and a roughly finished outer hair edge—creates a contrast between refined facial features and a raw, bark-like surround. Mounted on a simple base, the bust balances classical serenity with a handcrafted immediacy; the bold color and tactile marks draw attention to the making process while the tranquil, closed-mouth expression lends the piece an enigmatic, ritual quality.
