Deepak Sinkat - Artwork 96

A spare, meditative composition framed in natural wood and matting, this work centers on a delicate, embossed white surface punctured by a controlled field of round holes revealing tiny points of color. The subtle relief and careful perforation create a quiet tension between absence and presence, inviting the viewer to move closer and examine the interplay of texture, light and tiny colored marks beneath the paper. The overall restraint—neutral tones, minimal palette and measured geometry—gives the piece a contemplative, almost sculptural air.

The hand-worn frame and slight irregularities in the embossed surface add a tactile warmth that contrasts with the precise hole pattern, producing an elegant study of materiality and silence.
