A monumental, red-glazed form rises with the irregular folds and pockmarked texture of molten rock turned to ceramic. The surface alternates between glossy and matte, the crimson glaze pooling in deep crevices and accentuating rimmed edges that suggest both geological formation and a draped fabric caught in motion. Viewed closely, the piece reveals an obsessive attention to surface: tiny perforations, layered patina and subtle green tinges where glaze thins, all of which give the sculpture a visceral, almost organic presence.
The work feels alive with tension between weight and flow, as if a living core were frozen mid-metamorphosis.
