Biography

A Kolkata artist and printmaker

His works often turn inward. Figures, faces and symbols appear with deliberate restraint, while careful tonal handling gives his prints and paintings an introspective atmosphere. His work is held in public collections including the National Gallery of Modern Art and Lalit Kala Akademi.
