The artist
Biography
Kishor Shinde is a Delhi-based painter working with abstract canvases and paper collage. His practice draws on the dense, changing city, translating its urban landscape into irregular geometry and blocks of colour.
He studied at M. S. University, Baroda, and completed a diploma in painting in 1981. The Foundation inventory lists the name as “Kishore Shinde”; available gallery records identify the artist as Kishor Shinde, so the name variant remains provisional.
