Manu Parekh
A modern painter whose energetic colour and searching forms return repeatedly to the landscape of Banaras.
Biography
Manu Parekh is an Indian painter whose practice explores the relationship between people and nature, contradiction, and the expressive energy of organic forms. His early work engaged with people and nature; later work draws on rural craft experiences, ritual, animals, still life, heads and Banaras landscapes.
